Speaking at a press conference following the weekly Cabinet meeting, Madbouly said the government had reduced the external debt of budgetary authorities by $6.5 billion over the past three years.
Madbouly said the significance of the IMF's decision extends beyond the financing itself.
Madbouly said the government has already held three meetings to follow up on the president's directives announced during the inauguration of the Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Capital.
The partnership will develop an integrated urban project within Mada City in New Cairo, covering 553 feddans with investments exceeding $3.1 billion.
Mostafa Madbouly emphasized that the government’s continued presence at industrial site inaugurations reflects Egypt’s strong commitment to advancing the industrial sector, expanding production capacity, and attracting further investment into the local market.
